The country’s premier luxury hotel chain, Indian Hotels Company Limited, partnered with Sankalp Group to build Taj Skyline – a landmark that truly captured the city’s essence while staying true to its own ethos of responsible luxury. Located in a prime neighborhood, Taj Skyline is the first international category 5-star hotel that will transform Ahmedabad’s skyline.
The Masterpiece
The visionary project owners for Taj Skyline, Mr. Kailash Goenka of Sankalp Group, and Ar. Reza Kabul of ARK Reza Kabul Architects, partnered with Arcedior for their FF&E procurement solutions to establish Taj Skyline in the vibrant city of Ahmedabad. It was an obvious choice, wherein their vision matched our capabilities, of effortless sourcing and seamless logistics. The result was a successfully implemented project that delivered and delighted every single stakeholder.
The Palette
Taj Skyline truly encapsulated the vibrancy of its destination. Its modern architecture intertwined seamlessly with the city’s traditions and culture that ran across its interiors. Taj Skyline is a vantage, the first International Category Five Star Hotel in Ahmedabad with the key capacity of 160 Guest Rooms, 4 Suite Rooms, and 6 Jr. Suite Rooms in phase one. The hotel also has well-oriented Banquets, Meeting Rooms, Restaurants, Bistro Cafes, Spa & salon Amenities, and Temperature-controlled Swimming Pools – it has everything you could expect from a world-class facility. With a distinctive sense of place and its legendary hospitality, it sits well in a city known to abide by traditions.
The Arcedior Way
The design theme for the hotel was inspired by the local traditions and cultural diversities of the state of Gujarat. Sankalp group wanted to get the hotel operational with one year. The key challenge, hence, was to source and customiseproducts that conformed to the core design philosophy within one year with installation to make the property operation.
The design team at ARK needed to curate interior schemes for every room in phase 1 of the 18 storey building. Arcedior, with its 14+ years of industry experience, grows on a singular vision- to offer customized, comprehensive, and cutting-edge procurement solutions.

The Arcedior team worked closely with the project owners at the Sankalp Group, giving them immediate access to all product information transparently – timelines, pricing, tracking, and lead times from hundreds of premium brands. On our team was a diverse set of professionals chosen individually for their unique skill sets. Interior designers to project managers – everyone ensuring the project was implemented within the timeframe and within the budget. The project coordinator liaised with all the brands specified by the client, offering unlimited access to all the products needed through one point of contact.
Our vast experience came into play during the operations. We tapped into key resources – project managers and interior designers from the hospitality procurement domain. The on-site team just had to name their requirement, and we were able to offload the burden from them immediately. This helped them focus on their core competencies while the critical stages of the project went ahead smoothly.
